Dr. Voynich and Her Children

Dr. Voynich and Her Children is a cautionary tale about a potential near future which hits hardest when it hits close to home.  For that reason we decided to take a simple naturalistic approach to this show.  The lighting was designed to recreate some bright sunny mornings, late evenings, and nighttime along a desolate roadside.

This naturalistic approach lead to a production which tore at the heart because it was believable.  The near total isolation of an almost empty dark backdrop gave the sad moments an element of desperation, and made each happy moment a true sigh of relief.
