With The language Archive we wanted to break the walls of reality, and get at a heightened realism. A realm which reflects the insurmountable task of expressing what we mean through language. We wanted actors to be dwarfed by the knowlege around them.

To further induce a sense of lyricism to the text of the play we created a set which transformed itself into whatever it needed to be. Each minor scene extracting itself from one of the two larger spaces of the set, the home and the lab. This allowed for simultaneous staging, a sense of magic when the set revealed itself, and a georgeous flow to the play.
